An Android Smartphone in Rs. 10k Range

A friend lost his android tablet lately, and now he wants to get a smartphone.Good build quality, battery backup and a reliable brand would do.He is around 30 or a little above that, so the device doesn't have to be peppy and stuff.Just a solid smartphone.

If a solid smartphone is needed, he can look at Motorola Defy XT, which is available for 13k. I would not prefer him going for brands like Micromax or Karbonn. Sony Xperia Miro or J are good buys too.But I do have a grouse against you for saying that people above 30 need not prefer peppy stuff
