@toocoollol. I haven't recommended a warranty-less to device to anyone, except one chap who went ahead and got a nexus, so no :pI guess, then one'll have to get used to making routine trips to the micromax service centre, if android is all one wants !

i think abhisheks got 1 micromax and fell in love with it??? he is required here for quality issue questions :D

Well yeah my dad got the Micromax A90 to serve as his secondary and tertiary phone (dual sim) and I really liked the piece. The AMOLED display is the best part of it, it's really as good as a high end device. :)

and any quality like issues in the phone's built or anything u want to say on quality??

we underestimate the quality of our companies (though they procure the device from china but they take decision on what quality they want):D

i think it will be fine till 2-3 years at least ,except for some general issues which can be solved with service centers

Build quality is good. The camera is ordinary even though it's a 8MP camera. Loudspeaker is just about fine, slightly below par I guess, but the sound is pretty good when listened via the earplugs.

The phone tends to get a little hot at times but that isn't a major issue.

I guess you're talking about LG Optimus One which was selling like hot cakes because of promised Gingerbread update. It did get the update.

http://androidos.in/2011/08/lg-optimus-one-getting-gingerbread-update-in-india/

from what i understand my friend never got it. of course he has no idea about any of the LG's software app. unless it was delivered OTA, i would consider it a non-delivery :P

When enquired about PC/network/internet/ issues it will take days to get the solutions in forums. But when someone asks about mobile/android/tablet....its already 5 pages within 12 hrs:Boy Money:

yup but the son factor is also decisive there ..........otherwise ur thoughts about tipo size suited for girls /ladies is fine
Think twice about going for micromax and karbonn
They are okay for basic phones
but for touch, yes they will lag, reboot, heated up, drained battery
And display problem if u are lucky enough
u will get the support, but its not charming running behind warranty claims
they offer more for less price which obviously reduces the quality

Go for Samsung or Sony u will get less for same price
But u wont regret
