So, it's basically a no as all the third party apps requires to open an address in browser and turn that app on phone as well.Nokia generation is used to Bluetooth File sharing, including me :(I know the data rate is much low but still, the phone acting as a removal drive, is just awesome.Wish something like that was available over WiFi

Bluetooth is still there na! But still, for that u need that dongle. And in Linux, i dont know why its not working. So i was looking for some direct connectivity via Wifi.

If I connect via Bluetooth it detects my computer as an audio device :)data transfer rate is awful.

Have u tried manipulating with the settings of ur Bluetooth adaptor for ur PC? Coz when i used to connect to PC via Bluetooth, it connected normally. That was applicable to even my old phone - Nokia N78. In fact i used the phone as a remote control device as well, when i read huge pdfs on PC, sitting at a distance of about 8-10 feet from it.

1 of my friend's Galaxy Pop is not responding to touch at all. What possibly cud be the issue? I tried flashing it as we suspected it could be an OS issue. But it is still not responding......

Please ensure power adapter is not connected.Plus also try to remove battery for 5 mins and replace it.Can you tell if you have installed any custom kernel.

Yes, if flashing doesn't fix it, digitizer is the next best thing that fits. Is the phone in warranty ?
