Android update failed on Tata Play Binge+ STB

when i switch on the Tata Sky binge+ stb, tataplay logo appears and next the followng lines appear, can any one help to solve this?

Looks like it tried updating the software but it did not succeed. Maybe because STB was restarted during the process. Contact Tata Play customer care to get a fix.

i have tried through the customer care tataplay; for servicing, it is peculiar to understand, that the servicing people does not have any knowledge, i assume, they have said that the stb is faulty and we cannot service stb, they also said that the box has to opened and serviced. for this they have to get permission from the head office. whatever the service people has saide i conveyed thro mail to "help@tataplay" email.

instead of servicing the stb, a suggestion came from the servicing point ;and also from tataplay, that my faulty stb be replaced at a cost of 900.00.
i asked them (service point) whether the repacement stb is a new one or serviced one. the reply came that the replacement stb is a serviced on. i asksed in return, when you can service the stb, why you not able to service my ;stb.

i suggested them, it is better service my stb, even it takes one month or two, i want my stb be serviced and handed over to me at a cost. but the stb has been returned without any service.

regarding a reply received from 'sushubh - admin',

i found the fault of stb in the morning, as usually on every day (i veiewed programmes till previous day night), there was no any update was seen ;and hence the chance of switch off the stb is not true. i am not a technical person, i wish and request the forum people what is the meaning of the last four lines as below:

i think (may be i am wrong) is there any body remotely manipulated my stb, since some 'sdcard' being ;mentioned in the report.
i have no intention to prolong this enquiry as the dth and ott areas are getting expanse, though i have spent 5000.00 for the stb at the begining
i dont want to spend anymore.
