Another new GSM operator in Mumbai?

Hello,

I've recently noticed that when I search for networks manually, I see 6 networks instead of 5 which I used to see when Idea came up. So, who is the 6th Network Operator?

I see the following Operators now always on my phone:

[*]BPL Mobile
[*]Vodafone
[*]Dolphin
[*]Airtel
[*]405 15 or IND 15
[/list]Anyone has any info on this?

even i'm getting it.could it be reliance gsm?because i dont know any other gsm operator planning to launch gsm services...

I m not getting it, I dont get idea either, I m getting IND 799 or INA 799!Dunno abt IND 15

Videocon was also to come by year end but, I guess there is a battle going on between TWO promoters so may be Reliance GSM.

I mean to say, 'Idea' is not displayed on Ntwork list like orange, BPL mobile, dolphin, airtel.After conversion from orange-> hutch-> vodafone, still v can see orange in our network list.Update- I am getting IND 15 near my window, so it is 6th GSM operator in my area!

That's handset dependent. When you update to latest FW you'll see the names updated. Latest Cellphone have the names updated.

My Nokia 6630 still shows Orange

it may be Reliance GSM. in TN 10 days before they have installed adittional 3 antennas on their existing reliance cdma towers with Reliance logo. i found all the towers of reliance with 6 antennas. so it might be reliance GSM. we may get it before diwali

Before Diwali may be but, I think before year end it would be feasible.

When you saw the additional towers, did you see another network on your cell?
