Any EVDO user from chandigarh or Panchkula here ?

hey guys can you tell me weather the EVDO works in zirakpur or not ? i desparately need this... but when i went to the exchange they said we don't have EVDO but i read on some other forum that if you are in 50km range of the evdo tower then it'll work.. is that true ? please someone clear this 50km thingy..

actually the bsnl evdo towers works well only within 2km radius
