Have you guys contacted anyone in BSNL regarding this problem? I asked the JTO at my local BSNL exchange and he said that my power is way too high (-4dbm) and contacted the LCO regarding the same. Now power is down to -11dbm. But I don't think it will solve the issue as everything works fine during the day.
@rusalt Yes. I was also facing speed down from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM and 3:00 AM to 4:00 AM (for 1 week) but now it got fixed. They did some updates at BackEnd servers from what i got told by JTO and now my speed is back with stable ping. I don't know what was the update but my area recently got 4G services and i think they did upgrade in Core Network too.
I heard the same thing from my LCO that some equipment upgrades have been done all over my city and they are still ongoing. Until then, we have to live with horribly slow speeds, high ping, and jitters during peak hours.
@udhayanithi_g , I have observed that switching to ipv6/ipv4 (instead of ipv4 only) kind of solves the issue, but ipv6 is not stable (at least where I live). Some times the ipv6 address assigned to a device disappears and creates a "lag" of sort. Also setting 8.8.8.8 as main dns more or less fixes the buffering issue on youtube.
