It is PPPoE only right?
You get 5mbps on all servers? What about file downloading speed through a download manager like IDM?
When did this issue start or you were getting max 5mbps since the very beginning?

It's all happened from the past 1.5 weeks. And yeah, it is a PPPoE connection. I did check download speeds by downloading some files, and it is barely reaching 500 kbps.

Okay. Did you talk to your LCO? If yes, what did he say? is this problem happening to all of the users?
Also, please re-establish a PPPoE connection and go to router logs, there you will find Peer Mac Address, check the mac on some maclookup website, is it Juniper or Ericssion?

Actually when I had my BSNL FTTH back in 2019, they had to upgrade backend equipments, so they had shifted me to some unknown brand BNG, and it was a bottleneck, I used to get shit speeds 8-10pm.

Yeah, he told BSNL done some equipment upgrades all over the city. Right after that, I'm facing this issue. He also told some users affected but not in huge numbers. I will check logs and report to you back.

Yeah, I went through the same shit back in 2019. They had shifted us to a temporary BNG with low capacity while upgrading the new stuff.
