Good to see you back Bobby.
Any kind of free lancing work would not help you on the resume front if you are pursuing MBA, may be starting a small company may help.
Seems Photoshop is a better option as it will take a long time to come in terms with any kind of development (Java/php/Android)

I am a fulltime freelancer since 2002. You are BCom wanting to pursue MBA and also want to freelance with App development and Photoshop thsi does not go well.
Payroll management and accounting will be good options might turnout to be a career for you.
