:eek:I recently came to know that one can use virtual cards instead of their original credit/debit cards for shopping online! now that seems an extra security layer, but I have never used one and following q's bothering me lately...If anybody here had actually used them, what is the process? are they accepted at indian online stores? what about refund? Are they credit/debit card?:pleasehelp:

Hi akshay.... could you please tell me if there were any extra charges you paid for using vcc by bank? BTW nice to know someone actually has used virtual card. :)

I am using entropay virtual card for my paypal payments.it charges 4.9% every time u pullout money from your Indian debit cards. but i think its cheaper then other providers and it has lots of options.

if you have HDFC bank account you can create your own VCC (NET SAFE CARD) instantly. i used this while activating paypal account from my friend. no extra charge. the card is generated from your bank balance. not credit.
