I got a new airtel 4mbps 150 gb plan installed on 19th june (moved from reliance) . As my billing cycle is from 11th to 10th , CC told me i would only get 110 gb till 10th july before being fuped . I have downloaded more than 250 gb of data till 10th and i didn't get a single mail about crossing the limit and my dsl usage on their website till 5th july was only 50 gb (they are only showing till 5th as they are upgrading their system ). even till 5th i must have downloaded about 200 gb . is there something wrong with their website ?

My friend is on the 5Gb 499 (1mbps upto 5gb and 256 kbps after that) plan . He reports seeing that 80% Usage reached message via DNS hijacking when he visits any site. I'm on the same plan too but am in Mumbai till 1st week of August to cross check. Will let know if the friend gets FUP'ed.

My connection was down for two hours this morning and then I was FUP'ed when it was back on...arrgghhh!

I finally got FUPed on my old unlimited connection without any FUP. It was the 2999 2MBPS UL plan. My speed only changed to 1MBPS and that's after I consumed like 150GB which is apparently 50GB over my limit.

if that is the case, you should move to 2100 rupee plan that offers 150GB at 4mbps. of course it would drop you down to 256kbps after FUP

Looking at all these posts, FUP appears to be back in a big way. After so many days of non-FUPed 2mbps, 512kbps seems restrictive. Even resetting the router many times did not work. Good for them, I guess. But I am not giving up

I decided to take the plunge. I put in a request a week ago for a change of plan to the 150GBb 4mps plan. It'll be done in 2 days. When my billing cycle starts. Let's see.

Same here. Happened to me today for the first time in 2 years. But I'm getting only 256 kbps. Shouldn't we be getting 1 mbit as per the plan?
