me too fuped for the 1st time in over 4 years.plan to shift from Airtel to a better service provider...any pointers for noida options i could use?
 
my connection is also FUPed after 2years.i am using 1 mbps plan paying 550rs/month. from last month if i cross the 5gb limit my speed will reduced to 256kbps.
 
I got the FUP email yesterday too - 'You have reached 100% of your broadband usage limit of 25600 MB'.I'm on the old Turbo 1299 plan which I thought still had a FUP limit of 100GB :excruciating:

Exactly same happened with me yaar........ I have same plan... Too.
 
But I guess u guys should still be getting the original speed of ur plan till 100MB... right?Like when I subscribed for 1699 plan .. It was 1Mbps till 100GB .. So after few months airtel doubled the speed and I started getting 2Mbps with same 100GB (cos there was no FUP then)After few months they introduced this fup crap .. so I was getting 2Mbps till 30gb and after tht I would get 1Mbps till 100gb .. So they downgrade to ur original speed ..Or r they fuping u directly on 256kbps???
 
^ I couldn't check the speed because there was a lot of downtime yesterday and even when it was up the speed was quite slow (lots of lost packets while pinging).

Totally agree to hitman...I was also on a similar plan till I shifted to the 4mbps 75 gb plan recently..
 
I got fuped this month......funny thing ystdy get message I have used 80% of the limit my total limit should be 100 GB....though I was not downloading any how and in the morning get a message that u crossed ur FUP wtf? without even downloading....so in the night according them I downloaded 20 GB in 8hrs on 2MBps :rofl: I just realized my new billing cycle starts from 26th and today is 30th....what crap is this...fuktel suxs!
 
Seems like I am hit with torrents throttling .. fuktel suxs .. They seems to remove the throttling after 10-11 pm and throttle the speed from morning 10am ..Other file sharing and direct downloads works at full speed ..Was getting speed over 400-500kbps on torrents but it got reduced to freaking 50-60kbps .. Time to downgrade my plan .. no use of having such a shit connection ..When I am paying for 150gb of data at 4mbps then who the hell r they to decide wht I should download and wht I shouldn't ..
 
AIRTEL FRAUD:

I paid registration amount and filled up form, provided them all the documents to AIRTEL agent, 22 days ago. Now I am trying to call the same agent he is not picking up, I do not foresee any connection. However I have registered a complaint with Airtel , for which they gave complaint number 13 days ago, but so far no update or follow up. Looks like such complaints go to trash or hardly followed up.Originally the agent told me that I will get connection within 4 days.

As of now I have lost registration amount and still I do not see any one here to connect the broadband. Looks like another fraud by telecom companies, even before I have reported one more scam of AIRTEL. It is difficult who to trust in India and who to not, as I am not used to such things living all my life outside. People in Airtel or let it be any company like Reliance, Docomo, they have similar coordination problem, there is hardly in time frame or honor of commitment by these crooks.Calling their CS is like breaking your head to dead wall. It really reflects on their ethics and professionalism. Such companies can never be customer friendly. AIRTEL is trying to extend their call home service in Canada and USA , but it is a big failure for the same reason. As local management has no clues what is customer service , whatsoever, though it exists on paper , by employing 100s of high school drop outs in their call centre who has no comprehending capacity.

Now after loosing registration amount ( not so big to take them up legally) I am helpless.

Hopefully someone wakes up and refund my amount or give me connection. I cannot imagine it takes more than 22 days to get one simple connection. Even Spoke to ( after getting complaint number) Nodal officer Kisanchander, supervisor Sunita shroff, Mr. Kumar of Monica Enterprises ( agent), All of them promised that issue will be solved in next 48 hours, but have no heard from any one. Looks like they are all bunch of jokers have no clues or responsibility towards customer.
