My family owns a large house which we plan to rent to college/coaching students. To make the offer more appealing, we are throwing in free 20Mbps WiFi to each room, and I need Wireless AC access points for that, 5 in total (and that's why I can't spend more than 1500 on one AP).
I know OpenWRT is stable on Archer C20 V4, but what about V5 ? Reading on the OpenWRT forums presents a mixed picture, some users getting it to work fine, others having no 5Ghz connectivity to some others having had bricked their routers ?
Anyone here who has installed OpenWRT RC 21.02 on their Archer C20 and can verify if all things are working perfectly (including PPPoE, Wireless Dual Band Client/AP mode) ?
