Yea, seen this video. They seem to be really tagging the components with serials so that they can be replaced, repaired only at Apple. No chance for 3rd party repair.
Recent decisions does make me wonder whether iPhones are really the phones to go for in future.

There will be tools which will copy this specific data from old part to the new part like the Chinese guys created for last gen iPhones. But that will not be available to everyone and to every individual.
