Removing a essential part of any electronic device i.e charger in the name of “environment” and not passing the cost benefit to the consumer and instead raising the prices is a very unethical business practice imo. I'm fine with sim tray going honestly, would help MNP to be faster and convenient. One less thing to worry about.

This year and maybe next, Android oems will mock apple with cheeky ads about how they have a charger and the year after they will get rid of the charger. That's the tradition sadly.
