Applied last month..When shall I get connection???

See friends I live in Ludhiana of Punjab and I apply for BSNL Home plan 500 on the 11th of September...What the lady incharge( who accepts my application in BSNL's Dugri Exchange in Ludhiana) told me is that you are in waiting..it will take some time and you will be informed later on...!!!!! But tiill now I never got any hint on when they are going to come to configure it ...no phone call yet...So may be any of you might faces the same situation as me..earlier...So Does anyone of you please tell me that what shall I do ...or when does they are going to come to install it??? I need it badly...

^ please visit your local BSNL exchange and contact
the concerned person . it is the best place to find
when exactly you will get the connection . sorry
that we are not in a position to help in this issue .

your exchange might be waiting for new equipment
to provide new connections . it might take one more
month or a couple of months depending on demand
of new broadband connections at your exchange .

i too applied for connection on 25 aug i knew JTO in BSNL that made me simple with in 2 days i got the lineget any one in the BSNL office i can also be the equipment the has to be replace in the exchange office

Option 1 : get the ID and password and ask them to connect. May be modems not available. Offer to use your own modem/installation. Meet the Engineer i/c and explain the urgency. Ask a friend to test your connection. Option 2 : Make a temporary NETONE connection. Option 3 : Get a Sancharnet Dialup (25 hours or) 100 hours card. ( max Rs 550 + taxes for two years validity )
