AR880V V3.0 Modem for BSNL; problems with PPPoE connection

Hi, i have got AR800V modem from BSNL on a new bb connn. it was given to me with setup on bridged mode on VPI/VCI of 0/35. i modeified the configuration to PPPoE_0_35. But then, i am not able to access net this time..I cld see that I am assigned an IP address (in modem overview)... But no connection to internet. i cld even access the modem config on Wireless as well.. but no Internet access on PPPoE (netiher on WAN port nor on wireless.. Option 1:
Revert back to Dialer mode. Uncheck Box "PPP/PPPoE" in WAN page of modem. select "Bridged"
SAve. Reboot. wait for two minutes.
Try the Dialer again.
If successful, save/back up modem settings to say C:/My Documents / ar880 dialer mode OK.
Option 2 :
As it is in LAN page ( mostly ) enable DHCP .
try 192.168.1.1/home.html for menu items.


In Computer TCP/IP obtain Ip address automatically.
Probably this unit is same as Teracom model.
