Are VoIP Services or SIP Settings available in Airtel Xstream Fiber Broadband?

@tr1k0N4, I have sercomm router, Whenever i ping VOIP server: 10.2.8.53, It shows request timeout, Also i have not set static routing, Can you help me with setting up sip

Sure pal!
But without setting up the Static Route, you won't be able to ping the SIP server anyway, so please set that up first.

I too have an airtel router that seems to be a Richerlink. I have the following things setup, but each attempt to connect leads to a timeout when using MicroSIP:

Brdr @Midnight19 you need to first modify your voice WAN settings somehow followed by the creation of a static route. Then only will you be about to use a soft phone.

@tr1k0N4 Could you elaborate what i must modify? As i believe the IP seen in the wan setting ('10.162.xx.xx') is a static route?

add a static route as follows, destination: 10.2.0.0 subnet: 255.255.0.0 gateway: 10.162.10.1 interface: (voice wan)

also that is a static ip connection not a static 'route'

'sip server' in microsip is 10.2.8.245 or 10.2.9.5 (either one)

First of all, brdr @Midnight19 , you gotta enable internet on your voice WAN profile, along with turning on NAT in it and then the second step would be creation of the Static Route like brdr @abhishek.t described!

Lol how did you manage to modify the WAN settings changes so quickly? Is your router unlocked or what?

I just clicked the service option 'mid load' and selected 'VOICE_INTERNET'. Then got the option of routing via 'VOICE_INTERNET_R_VID_100'.

The Issue now is that my voice isnt being transmitted. Attached are the options i have.

Update: I have switched to TR069_VOICE_INTERNET to follow the trend with all other interfaces. But am still unable to transmit my own voice. the other person is able to talk, but cannot hear me.
