Availabilty of jio fibre in a neighbourhood

I had registered for Jio fibre through My Jio app . The response says We are coming to your area soon . Can we get a sense of time frame for availability of fibre from this ? Any info on that ?

Go and visit nearest Jio office . They can tell local feasibility. Sometimes it might not be serviceable due to some area limitations

Registering for service only helps them to assess the demand. Any guess on actual service may be based on start of some physical activity like digging the ground for cabling or poles.
A fair guess, as in our area, is 4 months since then.

I had seen the cables around my area and also some stickers advertising JioFiber. When I registered on the website, it said it's not available but the next day I received a message and call from a JioFiber guy. He said it's available and can give the connection. You can look for Jio cables to know if it's available or maybe talk to the Jio store.

Just 10 meters from my flat, Jio has installed it's S1 and S2 on my neighbors terrace (don't know why they don't use poles in my area. I stay in pune BTW). But the assembly has been there since last 2 years, and is not active/ green. On applying through the site, the engineer visited my place and said would transfer the entire assembly to my terrace, and then make it live/ green. Been trying for the last 20 days and all I get is empty promises. The engineer said the line laying up is done by 'vendors' and reliance has not made payment to them so the work is stalled. Anyways I'll keep trying.

The worst part is the most unhelpful attitude of Jio employees . They never give a correct time estimate . Always , they say it will take 3 more months , permission from the municipal corporation not received etc . All are lame excuses . Most of the time , they won't respond to your calls . Don't know the reason for their non transparent behaviour . Most customer unfriendly employees . Did not expect this from Jio . I am from Hyderabad .

do pole hunting in your neighborhood and look for black wires with orange stripes and jio infocomm written on them.

I am sure Jio is not present in my area . But the trouble is getting to know from them their plan for covering my area . There I have drawn blank .
