I am going to port my Main Tata Docomo Number to BSNL. :pleasantry: I and gauravbr already discussed on this issue with nodal officer and they are fine to port our numbers to other operator. Now we are going to port to BSNL. BSNL having better 3G coverage in MH circle. So Hello :Mates: to BSNL.

This is called Patriotism!

I guess we must find a non-3G operator with the hope that the GPRS speeds won't be capped.. So please share your view on these non-3G operators: Aircel, Uninor, Reliance (Airtel has already partnered with Idea and vodafone for 3G)Who among the above provides good GPRS/EDGE coverage?

But they will be able to access net via EDGE/GPRS and can not notice much difference in speed, becauase latching with 3G network doesn't mean that one will get 3G speed on 2G pack, So I guess it doesn't matter much for 2G data users.
we used to get 3g speeds on surfing on 2g packs....
