Slow internet speeds issue with ACT Fibernet

Sigh.

These are just speedtest.net speeds. I'm literally getting less than 190kbps actual. This page barely loads.

No point calling up cc. The NOC is throttling on purpose and speeds will go back to normal at 12:30.

Thats pathetic. I don't have this problem but I do have a problem with imgur site not loading. Imgur images themselves load fine on other sites like reddit but browsing imgur gallery on their main site is horrible. I've reached out to both ACT and imgur and they both say everything is peaches at their end and blame the other party

Hey! I had a similar issue with imgur images (not the main site). I fixed it by forcing https:// on all imgur links. Perhaps give it a try?

Thanks for this. I was using a redirector extension to convert to https. This also helps as a one step solution to bypass all the websites blocked by Dot (they normally don’t block https versions)
