I have 2 lines, both showing the same problem. I tried with 3 different modems. In bridge mode Dial-up it gives error 651. :wall:

@Sahyadri
In bridge mode Dial-up it gives error 651. :wall:
Delete present dialup and TCP/IP settings.

Program a new dialer. and TCP/IP settings.

REF : Google search: " error 651" summarised.

Or Try with "Always On" connection instead of dialer mode.

@essbebeThe problem resolved automatically today morning. :dance:I guess it was a ISP problem as you said earlier.I searched error 651 on this forum as well as google before posting here and tried the suggestion found on some sites, but this too didn't help.:wall:

The problem reappeared today around 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM

Man...I dont whats wrong with BSNL...This connection failure is happening every 2-3 days now..! Its horrible. Just today, after 12 days of application my plan was shifted from "Home 500" to "UL Home 500" (UL 750 reduced to UL 500). And just look at the speed. Its disgusting. I wanted to post a snap-shot of my plan change from the DataOne portal and it took me around half an hour to upload a 1 MB pic file..!! :@

@superprash2003ADSL is always stable.@icycool25You can reduce the image file size using image editing softwares.Print screen images can be reduced to 150 kb (jpg) retaining good quality.

Thanks a lot four your inputs, Sahyadri..! The actual image size was around 2 Mb. After cutting out the required portion, the final file size was an Mb. And I was horrified with the time taken to upload it. This irritates me, expecially because, when I had my previous Home 500 plan with 2 Mbps, I used to upload files as large as 8 Mb in just minutes...!
