Beam --- Static or dynamic IP

Hello Folks...does beam gives static ip? i requested for new connection yesterday morning and waiting for installation...somewhere i read that beam wont change IP for 20 or 25 days..is that true?i rely more on dynamic ip because i use more of file sharing sites which tracks daily download....can we change IP of beam when ever you want?(not from CC).Thanks.

thanks bobby.....do we need to disconnect it(i mean log out) ?i used to have airtel and i just turn it off and on to change ip..

My IP hasn't changed in months. My friend's IP hasn't changed in a year since he has taken the connection. Theres another friend of mine whos IP changes every 4-5 months. Its just random.

but, cant we change ip whenever we want? any procedure to change ip...

No clue. I have never had the need to change my IP.

You can ask beam whether they can assign a dynamic IP to you
