Best Android Smartphone today for around Rs. 20,000

A cousin is looking and the best option I could find was Google Nexus S for Rs. 19999 on Flipkart.

Any other alternatives?

My bet the Nexus S, will get Ice cream and has NFC, though no FM nor Gorilla glass to accompany it.16 Gb will be more than enough to store data. Performance wise not the best though.

well yeah. nexus s would get android 4 even though it would not be a very capable phone at that point of time

Well, We have had counter-arguments that there is not much to choose between a phone of 4.7" & Tablet of 5"

When we you guys purchase the phone ?? To be brutally honest there are only 3 options for you @ todayNexus SDesire SOptimus BlackAgain for an average joe Desire S is the best bet.Regards

looked into htc desire s again. i guess i was confusing it with desire z

would suggest nexus s and desire s. i do not like samsung's build quality. that's for sure.

i wonder if desire s has or would get android 2.3.4 officially.
