Not even a single politician is interested in bringing up anything in our capital city. They will always come up with something or the other to block any developments planned. Its the same fate for several malls, new airport terminal, vizhinjam project, the roads, city development plans by punch loyd, the flyover at bakery jn., the new techno city, medical college development project, ISRO institute ...... the list is long. All are still in red tape. Its pathetic... No one is interested, not even the MLAs from Trivandrum.
Anyway atleast the development plans for Kannur are in place. With full thrust to the new airport proposal and even the new water theme park from the communist party. All are in full swing with full support from the GOK. Atleast entire state is not stagnant, something is happening somewhere. Wish the cadres will atleast allow the private developers to comeup with something in Trivandrum, since they are determined not to spend any penny from the treasury to the state capital development.
Sorry, it went off the topic, but I couldnt control expressing my feelings to the state of the city today.
