Best point and shoot camera under 20k

Yea started hunting for a costly p&s camera and ended up buying a cheap dslr costing 1.5x the p&s, PS.

i made the same mistake around 5-6 years ago. problem? people started mistaking me for a hired photographer at events (friend's marriage for example). though things have changed a lot these days. DSLRs are more common so people do not tend to take you as a hired photographer if you are carrying one at a gathering.
