@tr1k0N4 that involves in maintaining two devices one for SFP to Ethernet conversion, I wanted to limit the setup with just one device.
Any other router which can support GPON directly ?
You could opt for Mikrotik hex s 2025, it has an inbuilt SFP port. And then buy the HSGQ SFP ONU stick. It'd be effectively one device only. But has no WiFi lol
well im in Hyderabad and I've just replaced the router Airtel gave me ( AOT4221NK Nokia G-1426G-C) with the TP-Link XX530v AX3000 Dual Band Wi-Fi 6 XPON Router and its working great. got voip also setup with zoiper so I can make calls from PC which is nice
The Airtel AOT4221NK is also a very good device on its own but airtel locks in down completely to the point you cant even change lan settings/dchp or anything
