Big 92.7 FM is ICC’s official radio partner for 7 years

MUMBAI: Reliance ADAG’s Big 92.7 FM has unveiled its new properties for the forthcoming year.
The company announced that it has been roped in as the official radio partner of ICC (International Cricket Council) for the next seven years. As a part of this deal, Big FM will launch a new programme Cricket Mahabharat across all its stations this year.
The show, centered around cricket, will give an overview of all the tournaments conducted by ICC across the world. The company will also promote the show through on ground activation.
“We have been roped in by ICC as the official radio partner for the next seven years. As a part of this partnership, we will be exclusively covering all the ICC tournaments across the globe. Apart from marketing and promoting the tournaments through on ground and on air activations, we will also be sending our radio jockeys to cover the matches live,” said Big 92.7 FM vice president programming and OAP Nirupam Sonu.
Currently, we are in talks with cricket celebrities like Ravi Shastri to host the show for us. However, nothing has been finalised yet,” Sonu added.
The other three properties that the FM station will be launching in the near future include shows like The Diwali Bonus, Global Warming, and the Music Biggies Award.
While The Diwali Bonus show will witness the listeners winning various kinds of prizes in the form of one month salary, gift vouchers and the like, the show on global warming will address a variety of environment issues.
The Music Biggies Award is a new award which will aim to honour the industries talented singers for various categories like romantic, sentimental, item, ‘josh’ and time pass.
