hey thanks for the update. that is still a major negative at present which is preventing me from opting big.
well thats the problem we cant get that perfect DTH provider,if u are looking for picture quality currently big tv holds the edge,but in the future with the current data about sattelite transponder, i see Tata Sky could be the perfect option,since they are already are slowly getting mpeg4 based stb like what u find in TS+,they will soon be shifting to MPEG4 trasmission,so the existing people have TS+ will not have to buy a MPEG4 STB,but what is not certain is whether the normal TS user will have to shell out extra cash for a mpeg4 stb once the TS moves to MPEG4,but ome thing is TS uses a proven software the same which airtel uses,and since they have tied up with SKY u can possibly get some hacks for what ever reason u want them,and since they have the most number of transponders they will have the edge with more number of channels or channels with lesser compression meaning which greater quality or even HD channels.
