Big TV claims to have crossed one million subscribers

MUMBAI: Reliance Communications’ direct-to-home (DTH) service provider Big TV claimed on Monday that it has crossed 1 million subscriber mark within 90 days of launch.
As per the company, it has already achieved a market share of 15 per cent.
“We attribute this success to the faith of millions of Indian consumers in the Reliance brand. Our customer-centric approach coupled with advanced technology, superior product and service with a wide distribution and installation service network spanning the country helped Big TV cross the million milestone in such a short span of time,” said Reliance Communications president Mahesh Prasad.
While Dish TV has a subscriber base of 4.5 million, Tata Sky garnered three million subscribers.
