BIG TV service in south India?wants your suggestion

Hi guys,How is the service in kerala especially?Do they still got shalom channel?I am seriously considering big dth apart from AD TV ,which is not yet available in my town.How is the picture quality?is there stuck/pixelation trouble?how is the STB?Frequent problems?aftersales service?please pour your gyaan/gnaanam on this.Thanks!:redface:

Hey... AirTel DTH is available in Kochi yaar. Even in suburbs like Kalamassery and Aluva. You can spot a few AirTel dealerships near Aluva railway station.

and I bought BIG dth just an hour back.I hope the Hyundai STB they gave wont trouble me!

why u bought hydunai stb yarr. u might have bought ALTECH MODEL 2 . THAT IS GOOD.Hyundai Stb gives lot of problems.

hey ... i'm having model 2 stbstill its prone to 'hanging' issues -but not frequent

according to technician ,the complaints were more with model-2!!!!! 150 pieces were sold here.later ,model-1 is what is available now.He said both STB's are working kind of OK ,not really true as it is portrayed elsewhere.also ,he said reliance is taking a stand-by mode now,later increasing channel numbers and also the south package will cost around Rs4000 ?(didnt understood properly) and they will cancel the RS2000~~ schemes.--The Picture quality is fine here with big dth.

Shalom TV is there in BIG TV..

I've a big TV connection at Thiruvananthapuram, but personally I wont recommend Big Tv to anybody... Service and Quality is very poor..:wall:
