Billing doubts

Could anyone of you tell me how BSNL makes the bill..that is, monthly or date-wise..for example,i got everything installed on 25th Nov..so will the bill be for the period 25/11 to 25/12 or is there some other system..please help..

you will get your first bill from 25-30/31. And rest of all bills from 1-30/31.

thanks ganesh177 for your help..but i'm still unclear as to how much exactly would they charge me and on what basis for the 5 day period(25/11 to 30/11) you mentioned..i have the Home 500 Plan which allows 2.5 GB of downloads per month..

They do calculate for 5 days, how much your rental would be according to your plan. Besides you will get other charges if u have opted for installations, modem, Tel rental. Also your free calls are calculated for 5 days according to your plan. You can do that simple cross multiplication yourself to calculate your available free calls for 5 days. If you do not exceed your free calls, and if do not exceed around 400 mb (for 5 days), considering all your charges expect that bill to be around 700/-. I am telling you from my personal experience.

For BSNL billing calculation each month is considered as 30 daysSo your per day rental is 500/30 = 16.67.Accordingly for 5 days your rental will be 83.33 and free usage permitted will be2.5 x 1024 = 2560 MB per monththerefore 2560 / 30 = 85.33 MB per day.426.66 MB for 5 days
