Do you mind paying a "service charge" to get a Jio sim?

I know people who are feeling "superior" by not having Jio SIM. They say that they are not going to go for "free" stuff. :D

Well I don't intend to stand in line and deal with annoyed Reliance employees who behave like they are doing us some kind of favor. I would apply when they are ready to treat customers respectfully.

same here my another lyf phone is lying down with no use since a month, I'll go for the sim when Jio will treat their customers with respect.

If e-verification can be done why not start selling sim card online.

update 21/9/16: the second jio sim I got from local mobile shop got activated yesterday. I got a message on Monday evening on the alternate mobile no. I had given informing me that the number was ready for tele-verification and the phone picked up Jio signal - I did the same and sim got activated the next day. In all, it took around 12 days for it to get activated (the one I got from Reliance digital store with eKYC verification was activated within 24h)
