Yep. Marvel's entire future slate depends on Doomsday doing well. Though I have a strong feeling that it won't do well. And for the same reason - a new generation. Marvel thinks a khichdi of every character in the next movie is going to do wonders. The new gen is not going to sit through so many movies just to understand Doomsday.

They got a chance to build up Thanos over multiple movies. Doom had to be a rushed job due to the Kang thing. I think many movies were average in earlier phases too, but ratio of good was still higher. Now, well I am not too sure.

Yep. They missed the chance of building up a new villain through Phase 4 to 6. Doom will only appeal to comic book fans coz for us, there is no emtional feel. They introduced Thanos in 2012 and endgame happened in 2019. 7 years it took them. And now lol Could have made Doom the villain in FF4 but nope.
