Subscribed to Tata Sky earlier this month. I was told that due to cloud cover the display may become B/W but usually it corrects itself to color. However, even when there is no cloud cover, the display becomes B/W randomly. To get the color back, I have to power cycle the Digicom a few times. Sometimes I get back color display. I have checked the Signal strength and BER when this happens and don't see any difference in the numbers for color and b/w (Sig. strength around 242 and BER around 2.0E-5)Is this normal behavior of the Digicom?

:O:O:OHad not heard about this type of thing in dishtv or tatasky.. who is that idiot who said you this? He is surely a colorful guy.. just go and kick him :hysterical:

if there is cloud cover the signal will go but no change in color .

Cloud cover can affect signal as whole and not only color component in the picture, if you are frequently getting B/W picture from your STB (confirm it on some other TV too) better replace the STB
