today i have blasted the dishtv cc reguading the new channel introduction and also i am not getting a single channel during rain.. if i am getting 4hr of rain my tv is off for full 4hr and i can view only after the rain stops
i have switched off and on my stb still i am not getting a single channels even the dd channels are not present.. (remedy that dishtv service cc people say)

FROM PAST FEW MONTHS I WAS KINDLY REQUESTING THEM THEY HAVE NO RESPONSE FROM THEM IS WAS LIKE "PUTTING WATER ON THE BUFFALO "

"SHEDI UNGALI SAE GHEE NAA HI NIKALTA"

IT FEELS VERY BAD TO THAT CC GUY ? WHAT TO DO NO OTHER OPTION...

I HAVE MADE MANY KIND REQUEST TO THEM BUT NO REACTION ....MAY BE THIS WORKS

@ dishtv_info, But why you are shouting here, it seems you are just speaking out to that guy in mere frustration. but for what this frustration, do you really have that much time to watch all new channels or the the number's sake you want all channels or just because other dth is having thiese channels so you also want these.... and about rains problem its with every dth.

Mr Hanshu Leave About The No Of Channels And New Channels Just Imagine When I Come Back From Work If It Rains And Just When I Switch On My Tv Set There Is No Channels Its Truly Frustrating We Get Only A Few Hr At The Evening For That 2 Hr Atleast Some Entertainment should be there to refresh the mind

You are right "dishtv_info", when it rains most of the channels are not available and you get "No Signal". It is frustrating to imagine that you subscribed for DISH TV thinking that you will get uninterrupted service and it just does not works when you need it most and You start to wonder, I was well off with my old cablewallah. This problem however is with all the DTH providers.

@ Dishtv_info, You are absolutely right, but again its a technology constraint and this is the problem with all the DTH service provider in India. Nothing to point out in specific on one dth.

Thats true if rain then no signal, but blasting at cc will not work ,they are not worried abt anything .

This is a worldwide phenomenon with DTH. Its called the rain fade effect.DirecTV subsribers in the US and BSkyB customers have experienced it too.All you can do is pray to the rain god, to stop 'transmitting' rain :)
