Bridge Mode in Huawei Router

Also do not set all ports to bridge. You will not be able to use Huawei then. Set only 1 port

Even if only one port is set to bridge mode on Huawei, the Huawei ont can't be accessed via lan cable using the non bridge lan ports. Why is this so.

To access Huawei when in bridge mode via non bridge ports, I need to enter a manual IP when connected using lan cable. Then I can access it.

Even I’m facing a similar issue. Until yesterday I was using my Huawei ONT in normal mode and was connecting to my TP-Link ARCHER 1200. Yesterday I changed the same to bridge mode to connect to my TP link Wifi router Now I’ve 2 problems.
1. I can’t access the Huawei ONT through 192.168.1.1
2. My laptop internet speed is reduced to just 50-60 Mbps even in 5Ghz.

can someone help change the settings back to normal mode.

@krishnanramani Yes. Reset router(Huawei ont) and never connect it to laptop through LAN.
