Bridge Mode in Richerlink-Excitel router

Hi
I want to put Richerlink ONU which comes with built in wifi in Bridge Mode.
I paid ₹2000 security for this but it has only one gigabit port and another 100Mbit port. I have 100mbps fiber connection.

Using inspect element I can put ONU in bridge mode but I am unable to do PPPoe auth either in my other Xiaomi router or on my laptop. My PPPOE username and password are correct. I have done MAC cloning on Xiaomi router as well but to no avail.

Any workaround for this?

try resetting the mac address on myexcitel portal first. Last time, When i tried putting excitel wifi router in bridge mode, it was not possible. They were using some different authentication, only mac cloning was not sufficient.

Weird. I guess it's dependent on the device provided by the company

This is an old and quite mediocre ONU. It reboots itself on heavy downloading, for eg, downloading ubuntu iso (around 5GB) and after 1 GB of download it reboots on its own. Now I am using Xiaomi router in access point mode and it works fine.

May I please know which MAC address you had cloned in the Xiaomi router, is it the GPON one or the one present on the excitel website dashboard @searching

I have cloned the MAC Address present on the excitel website dashboard and the bridge mode is working perfectly for me.
