Well, Hi guys i'm new to this IBF, I currently have airtel - AOT5221ZY router and the speed on 2.4ghz is just awful (barely 10 mbps) on connection of 40 mbps but when switched to 5ghz it works flawlessly but the main issue is i have important deices that uses only 2.4ghz and the range of 5ghz is not good at all, it just drops all connection when going over 800 sq feet. So, budget is not my main concern here but i wanted to get recomm. from you guys that should i buy an onu or replace the airtel router with diffrent one, i currently have Tenda ac8 router just need an onu for it to work or should i enable bridge mode through airtel cx care?

If WiFi speed is your only concern and you're happy with the Tenda ac8, you could set it to AP mode, plug it into AOT5221ZY and use it that way. No extra purchases necessary.
