I bought TP-Link Archer AX23 because Airtel has locked almost all configurations on the F670LV9.0 after recent updates. I could not change DNS, Port forward (they recently added CG NAT) and locked WiFi channels to 1 and 36 for 2.4 and 5GHz and combined them into one which was the breaking point as I constantly get packet loss upto 40% on WiFi.
I bought AX23 hoping to install OpenWRT, but the hardware version was 2.8. Anyways.
I checked and there already was a configuration for bridge available (lucky me).
I enabled port binding on LAN 4 and dialed PPPoE from my AX23, and it worked.
Now AX23 has a different IP and the F670LV9.0 has a different IP and internet is working from both.
My question is, is it good? Should I be concened? Both are getting independent 200Mbps Speeds (theoratically 400Mbps if I combine them with a VPS and VPN).
Should I get the Proper bridge mode where the F670LV9.0 should get disabled by calling Airtel? I have already called them and they are pushing for Static IP.
