Broke my rear camera cover Glass

I recently purchased Micromax Canvas Spark. I dropped it today and broke my rear camera cover glass. Camera is working fine, autofocus & zoom is also working fine.

So how much will it cost approximately? Should i go to authorized service center?

i assume that is part of the rear panel? is the back removable?

No its not part of Back panel. I mean Back panel is removable but camera cover glass is fixed. Like this.

ah right. i am going to assume micromax would ask to replace the entire camera component because the top cover is probably not replaceable considering how tight it is fixed.

It is easily replaceable. Saw similar model Galaxy Camera cover replacement on Youtube.

nice. i try to extra protective of the same area on the phone because it is exposed so badly. i wish camera makers start using sapphire for this part. should not increase the cost much and would be much more protective.

They need to put Gorilla Glass on Camera. Doesn't Apple do it?

Anyway, i will check out with Micromax customer care.

Edit - I am not buying Smartphone again ever. It breaks my heart to see when phone breaks by falling. My cousin broke 2 iPhones by dropping. Now he's on 3rd. But i have a weak heart and short temper.
