@Protector I am also from Himachal but no VoLTE or VoWIFI, have tried different handsets as well, signal is also very janky. Maybe whole state is not covered yet.

Meanwhile in some parts of Kolkata, BSNL 4G is already live. But it's on Band 28 (700 mhz), deeper penetration but lowest throughput. Getting only 3-4 mbps in 4G in open area, whereas in 3G (H+) I can easily achieve 8-9 mbps indoor. And no VoLTE yet. It falls back to 2G during calls.

@gmaster not sure what's the issue with you, but for me on b28 with bsnl I always got 15 mbps more or less and one time I even got 40 mbps from a train.

@Lucifer96 probably because of poor implementation. I live in a immensely dense population area of Kolkata. But in a 4km radius, there are only 2-3 towers transmitting 4g. Rest all are 3g towers and repeaters.

What outlets? Don't they exclusively sell sims through their exchanges? Or they sell through private shops as well?
