BSNL BROADBAND connection

HI,I am planning to have a BSNL broadband connection, my PC already has a Ethernet(LAN) port. Do i need to buy extra modam for this?plzzz help me..

Yes, you need to buy an ADSL modem. Line comes to this modem and from this modem, you need to connect an ethernet cable to the port in your PC. You can get a non wifi modem from BSNL for Rs. 1,100, You can also get the same for Rs. 50 per month rent. I am using wifi modem which I got for Rs. 80 per month rent. You can it for Rs. 1,800 outright purchase.
