Do you see any improvement in BSNL Broadband? is it still in the hands of local vendors? I have used BSNL airfiber a long time ago when it was like giving 2-5mbps plan.

One year ago, visited BSNL exchange to get a broadband connection and the Exchange Building was Huge however there was only few rooms or should i say one or two were open for people where in one room i asked them for the availability and they shown no interest in helping. they were 4-5 people in single room chatting and one of them asked me to note down the local vendors phone number, asked to call and get the connection and they continued with their gossips.

BSNL or any gov can have only big buildings. people there are lazy and useless. they feel frustrated with anyone looking for bsnl broadband or any service in their relative area.

This all happens because of Job security. It is a shame to pay huge taxes and even have a reliable broadband available. and Yes I pay direct taxes so they give it as freebies to remain in power.

If LCO is providing connections then you have to get it from them. If the fiber breaks then you talk to LCO.
Any other issues, you contact bsnl people.
That's how it works after they started using third party for providing connections.
BSNL office handles sim cards, towers, fiber issues which don't concern LCOs.
They also need to do field trips to every LCO who is facing issues with fiber.
