Hi,

Since 2-3 months, I am facing the Auto-Reset problem in Bangalore and I have also shared this in some of my earlier threads. I want to monitor the auto-reset timings/intervals.

At present, I am manually recording this by finding the actual assigned IP address with below steps.

- Goto http://192.168.1.1/
- Device Info -> WAN
- You will get WAN Info table. The last column in 1st row gives the actual IP address.

I make a note of above manually. This IP changes every time you reset your modem. The reset can happen either manually by you or automatically in case of some line/server problem.

I want to create a log of the change to this IP address. Any tool which can get me a report (columns - Date, Time, IP Address) on daily basis?

FYI - When I asked this to BSNL person, he says that they don't have any such provision at their end and give me a report. So I am planning to do this on my own.

Give a program/app called 'RouterStats' a go. But you've to define "custom get value/line" from WA3002G4 admin page. May or may not be useful.You can also use 'telnet scripting tool', but it would require little coding skills (which you'll be able to easily figure out from the help file).
