Bsnl broadband pune slow

Hi, Have any one of you from Pune noticed slow surfing & download speeds on dataone in the past one week.?If yes, please let me know if and how you resolved the issue.I called bsnl guys, they are not aware of any issue at their end, I have already reset my router, but no change.

hi,it is sometimes very slow ,frequently it gets disconnected.it takes 15 minutes for the connection established . only mornings are better.i also do not know whom to complain.but i heard it is all because of 3g introduction a week back.does it mean this problem is going to remain for ever?

I dont know for how long this issue will continue, but I have also realized that about a week ago, the bandwidth for the unlimited plan has been increased from 256kbps to 512 kpbs, after which the limited plan users are facing an issue? Do you have a limited plan or unlimited one?

i have home unlimited.yesterday it took me 1 hr to log in and today morning about 10 minutes .afterwards it seems to be reasonably fast except but there are frequent slows and disconnections.i was wondering whether something is wrong with the PC but then the problem should have been somewhat consistent.any idea whom should i complain to about the problem?:frown::frown:

I think you should get the phone line checked, contact the telephone exchange which has provided you the telephone number, does the DSL / Link light glow steadily or does it blink when the connection gets disconnected. Also try to check whether the disconnection happens more frequently when it rains, I had this problem a long time ago, and finally found that the wire insulation had a cracked at certain places and when it used to rain, the link used to break and the speed went down. Do you use a wireless router or a simple modem and connect using LAN cable?

this is happening only since last one week or so.once logged in the speed is quite ok for me.then the connection goes off and takes anywhere between 10minutes to one hr to restart.i use simple modem provided by bsnl and lan cable and so far (almost 3 yrs reasonably satisfactory.
