Have you been able to revert your account from NIB-II to NIB-I? So called MP to P2 network? 117.x.x.x pain to 59.x.x.x bliss? Hello members,We've been using BSNL BB at our home since early 2007. I personally been using it since 2008. For the most part we were happy with it. Very few issues and quality close to what was promised. Our troubles started recently when we migrated from UL750 to ULF1100. I was lured by the increased bandwidth and free calls. Once our account got changed to NIB-II, we were hit by a host of issues. Frequent disconnect & reconnect, redirects to motive.bsnl, poor latency, greater loss of bandwidth. I lost a whole month trying to put out the fires one by one. A search through the forums shows this is not uncommon. So I was wondering, has anyone thought enough is enough and went back and had BSNL change their plans and accounts to the earlier NIB-I P2 network?

I don't think such an option is available. That classification is purely internal. Try speaking to the Senior Divisional Engineer.

Okay, thanks. I'll first try speaking to the people at the local exchange. They were pretty helpful in dealing with the plan change issues. I did get the feeling that all those troubles were somehow linked to the plan change. But I had no clue about this NIB-I vs NIB-II thing. Thanks to some of the other posters in this forum, I now understand why my login/password were re-issued and I was asked to go check my details in a different portal. I miss NIB-I :(
