Change in business rules for Broadband customers
The following are the changes in business rules for Broadband service.
Minimum hire period :-
In some lower plans of Broadband minimum hire period was stipulated as 3 months. Now, it. has been decided that minimum hire period for all broadband plans will be 1 month.:thumb: In case of surrender of Broadband connection after one month, pro-rata charges
shall be recovered.
Since, there are many cases pending for settlement due to minimum hire period of three months, it has also been decided that all these cases will be settle taking a minimum hire period of one month.
Premature surrender of Broadband Annual Plan :-
In case of Annual plan options, if the customer surrenders the connection prior to the hire
period of one year , the charges shall be adjusted on pro-rata basis taking the discounted FMC. rate. In addition, one month full FMC shall be levied as early termination charge henceforth.
All other terms-and conditions- envisaged in the tariff circulars of Broadband services will remain unchanged.
