If you are using EVDO then use hide IP to get yourself fake IP and download from link-removed, you can also do simultaneous downloads by using it.

dc plus sucked big time with my hathway which regularly gave me 32 kBps on direct links and 25odd in torrents:confused:

I was on azureus 2 years back and switched to utorrent for a year. now i'm thinking going back to Az cos it seems to be connecting better with peers than utorrent on a recent test with most of my torrents.

yeap azureus does perform better for me compared to utorrent. but the simplicity keeps me with utorrent.whenever i start using azureus i end up using too many plugins or settings. in the end it messes up and i switch back to utorrent.

Hey guys need i just got a new EVDO connection and i am unable to connect to utorrent.
It says the port is not opened but i checked in my anti-virus(Kaspersky) there the port was listed as open.
Any suggestions wht this might be happening and what can i do to put it right?

In EVDO, you can't forward your port. Just keep running utorrent for some time and it will download. The real problem will happen only when others will try to connect to you i.e. seeding file on your part.

It is downloading but at a speed of around 8kbps which is nowhere near to the speed i am getting and in order to get high speeds i need to open that port.So any suggestions how to do that?
