BSNL EVDO Broadband: Whats the fastest EVDO speeds in Mumbai ?

Can someone tell me how fast EVDO is in Mumbai ? (Thane to be specific). I am visiting the area for a month and need a very fast pipe to do some online collaborative stuff with my US corporate office. Thx //

No BSNL EVDO in mumbai. MTNL is working on 3G services, no chance it'll start services before 2010. Only reliance wimax is available which is offering 1 mbps connection @ 2199 Rs. Unlimited.

Yeah its available, but thane is dominated by sify and hathway.If sify or hathway is not available then only move to reliance wimax, because this service is still under beta testing, so u might face problems while getting an IP from DHCP server. If u r going for wimax then remember signal strength > 20and rssi > -60.Means values like 20 and -40 are accpeted.and 18 and -70 are rejected. Then u wont face any problem.
